FMPWEB Hosting Policies

FMPWEB/Foster Enterprises offers customers a safe and easy way to host their web site. Our hosting policies are fairly simple and straightforward.

1) All hosting agreements can be cancelled by the customer by giving 10 days notice to FMPWEB unless otherwise stipulated in the original, signed customer agreement. The customer will be responsible for the entire month's hosting charge if the site is online any portion of a month.

2) Customer cannot host sites that contain pornography, gambling, or any illegal activities. Anyone caught doing so will be subject to immediate termination by FMPWEB and lose any prepaid fees.

3) FMPWEB will provide email services for hosted domains. The level of email services and cost will be as stipulated in the customer agreement.

4) Customers cannot install any applications or scripting languages without the written permission of FMPWEB.

5) All data, images, and other content is the property of the customer, and such will be surrendered to the customer within a reasonable amount of time upon termination of services with FMPWEB.

6) FMPWEB will provide complete off site backups of site code and backend databases.

7) FMPWEB will provide reliable uptime of its database and web servers at all times. FMPWEB will provide more than sufficient bandwidth to those servers over the Internet at all times. At any time that FMPWEB cannot provide 99% or better uptime* for these services the customer will be provided credit towards future service on a prorated basis. This does not apply to scheduled maintenance that customers are notified of in advance.

FMPWEB strives to provide all its customers with fast, reliable hosting services with 100% uptime, but we are subject to network issues that are beyond our control. FMPWEB utilizes modern software and hardware for its hosting services and follows a regular maintenance schedule to insure their reliability. Amenities made available to our customers on our servers will vary over time, but no amenity or service will be discontinued without proper notice to our customers. FMPWEB believes that these simple policies afford its customers reasonable expectations of our hosting service and allow them have a reliable web presence through our hosting service.

FMPWEB reserves the right to change and update these policies without prior written notice.

* Uptime is calculated on a calendar month basis.
